Our Programs
At UNAPD, our programs are designed to promote the rights, inclusion, and empowerment of Persons with Physical Disabilities (PWPDs) across Uganda. Through advocacy, capacity building, strategic partnerships, and community engagement, we address the barriers that limit equal participation in society. Our initiatives focus on creating inclusive opportunities, improving livelihoods, enhancing accessibility, and ensuring that every person with a physical disability can live with dignity, independence, and equal access to opportunities.

1. Physical Accessibility for PWPDs
We advocate for accessible infrastructure, public buildings, transportation, and services to ensure Persons with Physical Disabilities can move freely and participate fully in society.

UNAPD promotes equitable access to quality healthcare services for Persons with Physical Disabilities by advocating for inclusive health systems, accessible medical facilities, rehabilitation services, assistive devices, preventive healthcare, and increased awareness of disability-related health needs.
