About UNAPD
The Uganda National Action on Physical Disability (UNAPD) is Uganda's leading umbrella organization representing Persons with Physical Disabilities (PWPDs). Established in 1998, UNAPD works to eliminate barriers, promote equal opportunities, and advocate for the rights of persons with physical disabilities throughout Uganda.
Today, UNAPD has:
- 38 District Member Associations
- Over 7,000 registered members
- National advocacy presence
- Partnerships with government, NGOs, and international organizations
